Making money online without spamming

Some people ask me for advice on how to be successful online and make money, but they normally don't get what I'm saying. The reason being is that everybody wants a quick fix. Some people make money fast, but those are normally the ones who do not need my advice nor do they ask me "How much do you make? Help me how to make the same amount."

Umm, the last thing I have time for is holding anybody's hand, so here are a few pointers which I want you to read before you bother yet another online marketer:

1) Create value before you put advertising onto your site.

2) Don't make a blog post without knowing what you are trying to get across to the audience.

3) Make your ads look like they are part of your site.

4) Choose ads specifically related to the subject matter of your blog and individual blog posts.

5) Communicate with your readers thru the comment section.

6) Love what you do and believe in what you write. Don't sound mechanical. Be you, and allow yourself to make mistakes. I spell bad and I am dyslexic, but so what. Number 1 thing is that my readers know what I am talking about and that I am telling them the truth.

7) Your reputation is more important than a quick buck. First get your reputation and then it will be easy to make money.

8) If you blog about an advanced subject, remember how you once get started and be patient with readers who need help.

9) Give it your best, but don't waste too much time either.

10) Check out my Search Engine Marketing blog and get familiar with the search engines and what it takes to rank your sites for the right keywords, but do NOT spend too much time on that either, and don't let it take away from the main focus: Creating quality and unique content to avoid being categorized by readers as one of those blogs that say nothing and sell a lot.

Don't be a one day fly, blog to stay. You need to watch the market and see what works for you. Good luck, guys!
